Summary: The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The location is nice, a lovely walk to the main central area. The self-check-in process is somewhat impersonal. The reception closes daily at 17:00 and leaves a mild panic that if your flight arrives late in the day, or is delayed, that you may have an issue getting checked in or indeed gain access to the hotel. There is a number that can be called after 22:00 if you have any access problems. However, I often do not take my cellphone out with me to pubs and clubs in the evening/night. I prefer to leave valuables in the safe in my room. As it happens, I didn’t lose my room card/key and was able to access the hotel but I have certainly lost a hotel access key in the past. The hotel should have reception staff on site until at least 22:00 and they should then hand over to a night shift security guard. Giving peace of mind to the hotel residents.
